The Township of Hamilton has released the 2026 Draft Capital and Operating Budgets, now available for review. Council will review and discuss the draft budgets at a Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, December 10 and Monday, December 15, 2025.

Take notice that the Council of the Township of Hamilton will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Township Office at 8285 Majestic Hills Drive to consider proposed application for Consent Applications (File numbers B 10/25 and B 11/25) that applies to lands located at 3233 Ferguson Road, Part of Lot 12, Concession 4, Hamilton Township, owned by Vasil Pejcinovski and Katherine Cook.

A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office, 8285 Majestic Hills Drive, Cobourg, ON.

Today, Enbridge Gas Ontario (Enbridge Gas) and the Hamilton Township Fire Department announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

The Township of Hamilton has a winter parking ban from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. – seven days a week including holidays.

As of November 1, the Township of Hamilton’s Winter Parking Hours are in effect. To support safe and efficient snow clearing, please remember: No vehicles, trailers, equipment, or materials may be parked or placed on Township roads or right-of-ways between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The Township of Hamilton is excited to celebrate Local Government Week from October 13–19, 2025!
