Elections Ontario is now responsible for maintaining the Permanent Register of Electors for Ontario municipal elections. You may access the Elections Ontario Register to Vote Portal for more information and to update your information.

Registration is now open for the Township of Hamilton’s 2026 Summer Day Camps! Offering fun, active programming for kids including games, crafts, outdoor play, and more, camps run at the Baltimore Recreation Centre and select weeks at the Bewdley Community Centre. Full-day care and free extended hours are available for added convenience.
Spaces are limited, register now at hamiltontownship.ca/camp.
The Township of Hamilton reminds residents and visitors that Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) season runs from April 1 to November 30, with operation permitted on designated roads during daylight hours only. Riders must use approved routes, wear helmets, carry valid insurance, and follow all applicable laws; fines may apply for non-compliance.
The Township of Hamilton is excited to celebrate Local Government Week from October 13–19, 2025! This week shines a light on the people and services that keep our community running smoothly every day. Join us for Community Connect Day on Friday, October 17, at the Baltimore Recreation Centre for informational booths, a “Touch-a-Truck” display, free public skating, and fun family activities. Residents can also take part in a Township-wide Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win prizes and follow along online as we spotlight our departments throughout the week. The Township of Hamilton invites residents to review and share their thoughts on the proposed Conceptual Landscape Plans for the future development of the Harwood Waterfront.
A Community Open House, hosted by Basterfield and Associates, was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Harwood Memorial Hall. Township staff and project consultants were available to answer questions, discuss design concepts, and gather community feedback.
Residents who were unable to attend are encouraged to review the Concept Plans online and submit feedback by email to info@hamiltontownship.ca no later than Thursday, October 24, 2025.
The Township of Hamilton invites residents to join staff at a Community Open House hosted by Basterfield and Associates on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Harwood Memorial Hall, 5453 Front Street, Harwood. On Friday, MPP David Piccini joined in with members of the Township of Hamilton’s Council, Paul Rosebush from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), and the public to celebrate the grand opening of the revitalized Laurel Park playground. MPP Piccini formally congratulated the Township of the work it’s done as a result of receiving a $30,000 Capital grant last fall from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The Township of Hamilton Municipal Council and the entire community proudly extend their congratulations to Kate Current on her remarkable achievement of being chosen to represent Canada in the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. Kate will compete in the women’s 1500 metre run.
