Take notice that the Council of the Township of Hamilton will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Township Office at 8285 Majestic Hills Drive to consider proposed application for Minor Variance Application (File number A 02/26) that applies to lands located at 5498 Sutter Creek Drive, Part of Lot 7, Concession 9, Hamilton Township, owned by Martin Hennessy and Denise Bustrean.

The closure will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with local traffic access only permitted during this time.
The closure and project will run from April 27 2026, through the months of May and June.
The Township of Hamilton is pleased to announce that it has received the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (CAnFR) from the Government Finance Officers Association for its 2024 Annual Financial Report. This marks the first time the Township has earned this distinguished recognition, which honours excellence in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
The Township of Hamilton has implemented an alternative dispute resolution program for By-law enforcement. The system is an alternative to the existing provincial courts process that is generally lengthy, costly and challenging. The Administrative Monetary Penalty (AMP) System transfers By-law disputes from the courtroom to the Township using Screening and Hearing Officers who can modify, cancel, or confirm designated penalties. This approach aides in reducing congestion in the courts as well as providing a simplified more local and accessible dispute resolution system.

the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Hamilton intends to pass a by-law to adopt a new
Procedural By-law at its regular meeting of Tuesday May 19, 2026.
