Water Ban Lifted - Effective Friday, August 29, 2025

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MUNICIPAL WATER CONSUMERS – WATER BAN LIFTED

The Township of Hamilton wishes to thank the residents of Baltimore and Camborne who receive Municipal water for their cooperation during this summer’s Municipal Water Ban. Your efforts to conserve water helped reduce strain on our supply system during a period of prolonged dry weather.

We are pleased to advise that effective Friday, August 29, 2025, the Municipal Water Ban will be lifted. Normal water usage under By-Law 2004-28 may now resume.

Residents are reminded that the Water Usage By-Law remains in effect annually during the months of June, July, and August. Even when no ban is in place, the By-Law provides rules around water usage, including designated watering times and permitted days by address. Please continue to follow these requirements to ensure the ongoing sustainability of our Municipal water system.
