Proclamation of Community Foundation of Campbellford/Seymour and Northumberland 25th Anniversary Week

The Township of Hamilton is pleased to recognize May 4 to May 8, 2026 as Community Foundation of Campbellford/Seymour and Northumberland 25th Anniversary Week, as proclaimed by Council on March 17, 2026.

This proclamation recognizes and celebrates the Community Foundation’s 25 years of dedicated service to our region. Since its establishment, the Foundation has played a vital role in strengthening communities across Northumberland through philanthropic leadership, strategic grantmaking, and ongoing support for local nonprofit and charitable organizations.

Over the past quarter century, the Foundation has contributed to a wide range of initiatives that enhance quality of life for residents, including projects that support arts and culture, environmental stewardship, education, health and wellness, and community development. Its work has helped build a more vibrant, resilient, and connected community for present and future generations.

Council extends its appreciation to the Community Foundation of Campbellford/Seymour and Northumberland, its board members, volunteers, donors, and community partners for their continued commitment to making a positive and lasting impact.

As part of this milestone celebration, the community is invited to attend “25 Years of Community Impact” on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the Sunny Life Recreation and Wellness Centre. The event will include a social gathering, followed by a brief Annual General Meeting and the announcement of the Foundation’s 2026 grant recipients. Residents are encouraged to attend and take part in celebrating this important occasion. RSVPs are requested.
