Water Supply Master Plan

The Township of Hamilton has completed a Master Planning process in accordance with Approach 1 of the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to develop a Water Supply Master Plan. The Master Plan report assessed various options to improve performance and reliability of the water supply and 
treatment infrastructure while accommodating for future growth in the Township.

Based on recent study findings and inputs from agency stakeholders and the public, the Master Plan is now complete. The preferred alternative, presented in Section 7.5 of the report, is to install drinking well(s) and treatment infrastructure on a new site to support the Creighton Heights system, as well as recommendations for next steps to progress towards implementation. The recommended projects are presented in Section 8.0 of the Master Plan report which is available for review at the Township’s website: News | Township of Hamilton

By this notice, the Master Plan is being placed on public record for a 30-day review period in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class EA. Interested persons may provide written comments to the project team by February 5, 2026. All comments and concerns should be sent directly to:
