Snow Operations Update

Our Public Works crew continue to work plowing roads, applying materials, and are closely monitoring conditions as strong winds and blowing snow move through the area. These winds are causing ongoing drifting, which may slow down progress, but please know that routes are being actively managed throughout the day to support safe travel.

The Township of Hamilton has been hit by significant and historic snowfall, creating challenging road conditions, reduced visibility, and slower progress for snow clearing operations across our community.

Despite these difficulties, our dedicated operators are doing everything possible to stay ahead of the weather and respond to constantly changing conditions. In addition, we are working on snow removal throughout the Township, focusing on high-volume areas, one-way streets, and dead ends.

We deeply appreciate your patience and cooperation as our teams work diligently to maintain public safety on our roadways. Your understanding allows our crews to focus on keeping residents safe during this record setting winter weather event.
