Road closures can happen at any time due to construction, weather, or emergencies. The Township of Hamilton shares road closure notices through Municipal 511, an online tool that provides real-time updates on road conditions across Ontario. We also post updates on our official social media channels.

Current Road Closure
Road Closure Notice – Hircock Road Reconstruction
The Township of Hamilton wishes to advise residents that the road closure associated with the Hircock Road Reconstruction project has begun as of Monday, April 27, 2026. The anticipated closure will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday with local traffic and emergency access only permitted during this time.
This project and closure will run from April 27, 2026 through the month of May and June.
Road closures will be communicated through the Township’s website, official social media channels, and Municipal 511.
