Road Closures
Road closures can happen at any time due to construction, weather, or emergencies. The Township of Hamilton shares road closure notices through Municipal 511, an online tool that provides real-time updates on road conditions across Ontario. We also post updates on our official social media channels.

Current Road Closure
Road Closure Notice: April 9 2026 – Castlehill Drive – 7am – 7pm
The Township of Hamilton will be closing a portion of Castlehill Drive (South from civic address 2686 until just North of civic address 2617) on April 9, 2026, from 7am – 7pm.
The closure will not allow traffic of any kind. The Public Works Roads Department will be completing an emergency cross-culvert replacement in this area.
