The Communications Plan supports the Township of Hamilton 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. The priorities, goals and action items foster a well-informed community, support two-way communication, and encourage public participation in municipal business through a strong sense of community connection.

Challenges include limited media options and residents limited access to high-speed internet and digital technology. Challenges are encountered in engaging residents and encouraging local government as a priority.
