Baseball Diamonds
The Township of Hamilton maintains six ball diamonds in three community parks. Our baseball diamonds are the perfect place whether you're taking the kids to toss a ball or practicing your grand slam. To reserve a ball diamond or learn more about amenities, contact Parks and Recreation.
Baltimore Recreation Centre Ball Park
Location: 23 Community Centre Road, Baltimore
Baltimore Ball Park features:
- Four fenced baseball diamonds
- Diamond 1 is equipped with lights
- Diamonds 2, 3, and 4 are unlit
- Accessible outdoor washrooms from May to October.
Rentals include bases, lines, and field dragging at the start of each day.
Bewdley Community Centre Ball Diamond
Location: 7060 Lake Street, Bewdley
The Bewdley Community Centre baseball diamond is located immediately southeast of the Bewdley Community Centre. Washrooms are available inside the Community Centre during regular hours.
Rentals include bases, lines, and field dragging at the start of each day.
Cold Springs Ball Diamond
Location: 3844 Burnham Street North, Cold Springs
The Cold Springs ball diamond is located behind the Cold Springs Memorial Hall. The ball diamond features:
- Portable washrooms, seasonally

Tennis Courts
The Township of Hamilton offers four well-maintained tennis courts available for residents and visitors to enjoy. Whether you’re a casual player or a seasoned pro, our courts provide the perfect setting for practice, matches, and friendly games. Find all the details you need to get on the court and start playing today.
Weather permitting, tennis courts open the first week of May.
Plainville Tennis Courts
Location: 8644 Oak Ridges Drive, Plainville
The Plainville tennis courts are a double-court facility located at the intersection of County Road 9 and County Road 18, and includes:
- Two full size tennis courts
- Seasonal washrooms
Castle Hill Park
Location: 30 Stoneridge Rd, Cobourg
Castle Hill Park is a charming spot where you can enjoy a friendly game on the single tennis court or let the kids have fun at the playground. It’s a great place to get active, relax, and spend quality time outdoors with family and friends.
Buttersfield Park
Location: 16 June Ave, Cobourg
Butterfield Park features a well-maintained tennis court ideal for players of all skill levels, plus a lively playground that’s perfect for kids to burn off some energy.
