The Township of Hamilton aims to improve access and opportunities to people with varying abilities and enable their involvement in the prevention and removal of barriers so that residents and visitors may fully participate in life in the Township. Regulations within the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) help us build a more accessible community, and the Accessibility Advisory Committee assists Staff and Council plan for a barrier-free Township.

Accessibility Plans and policies

The Accessibility Advisory Committee has developed an Accessibility Policy, an Accessible Customer Service Policy, the Accessibility Plan.
