$50,000 OTF Grant Received for Cold Springs Park Playground Project


On Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini will be at the Township of Hamilton’s Cold Springs Park to announce the $50,000 Ontario Trillium Fund Grant received by the Township for the installation of accessible playground equipment at the Cold Springs Park. The new playground equipment will be a welcome addition to the services and amenities to the small rural community of Cold Springs and the Township of Hamilton as a whole.
Township of Hamilton Mayor Bill Cane will be speaking about this new equipment and its expected impact in the community.

Township of Hamilton Cold Springs Park Advisory Committee Chair Shawn McIntosh will be at the event to talk about the Committee and Community volunteer’s role in fundraising for the playground and a proposed picnic shelter as part of a larger revitalization project of the Cold Springs Park.
