Hancock Memorial
The Hancock Memorial Board of Management has been established by the Hamilton Township Council, as an advisory body to provide input and recommendations into matters pertaining to the community of Bewdley parks and facilities, including programs, policies, events and matters of general public and user group interest. The Board of Management shall endeavor to make recommendations that meet the greater need of the community of Bewdley in a manner which is cost neutral or profitable. The Board of Management may: make recommendations on buildings, structures, grounds and equipment or any municipal asset in the community of Bewdley; make recommendations on new policy or policy changes; make recommendations on the annual budget requirements and operation within the approved budget; make recommendations on hte usage of the Township facilities or grounds for commercial events; make recommendations on the selection of all major suppliers of goods and services as per Township Orocurement policy; make recommendations on the acquisition and disposition of capital equipment; make recommendations on the development of expenditures of capital funds for the buildings and property; make recommendations on the requests for the use of Township property by outside fundraisers and fundraising groups; make recommendations on the organization of fundraising activities and utilize funds for specific projects or equipment.
