The Council of the Township of Hamilton wishes to thank all those persons who give their time to volunteer on the various township committees. Your continued effort and commitment is realized through the celebration and protection of our Heritage, accessibility and advancement of our Buildings and Parks and pride of our residents making Hamilton Township a vibrant community in which to live.
1/2 Load Road Restriction
March 1- April 30, 2015
Half Load Restrictions
During the spring thaw, most Township roads become too soft to withstand the weight of a fully loaded truck, no matter how many axles. In an effort to reduce damage to the roads during spring thaw, the Township has weight restrictions to half loads (5 tonnes per axle) on all roads in the Township from March 1st to April 30th. Please assist us in reducing repairs to our road system by not having heavy deliveries to your property during this time of year.
