By-Law Enforcement
The Township of Hamilton has enacted a number of by-laws that require enforcement for non-compliance. In most situations, the Township only becomes involved if a written complaint is received.
The two main areas in which complaints are received pertain to the following By-laws:
Property Standards By-law
This By-law prescribes standards for the maintenance and occupancy of all property within the municipality. It requires that properties below the standards be repaired and maintained so as to comply.
