Baltimore Recreation Centre Board of Management

The Baltimore Recreation Centre is the premiere multipurpose complex in the area. Located only minutes from the 401 (at County Rd. 45 north of Cobourg) and situated on 27 acres of park land, the Baltimore Recreation Centre is home to a 2 pad arena complex with capacity for more than 800 spectators in our NHL sized ice surface. Our new 300 person Community Centre, 5 baseball diamonds, outdoor basketball court, volleyball, 1.3 km paved walking trail and large children playground make the Baltimore Recreation Centre an ideal venue for any function.

The Board of Management is composed of volunteers who provide recommendations to Council and to the Manager for the improvement of all of the facilities. The Board is also responsible for fundraising. Many of the improvement projects that are undertaken at the Recreation Centre are funded 50% by fundraising and 50% by the Township. The Board has been instrumental in raising funds towards the basketball facility, canteen, ball park improvements including lighting, zamboni and many other projects.
