Ribbon Cutting Ceremony- October 26, 2015
Community Care Northumberland (CCN) in partnership with Nthld. County announced that the Specialized Transportation Program expanded into Hamilton Township on October 28th.
The Community, Social Services and CCN were approved for a $100,000 grant over 2 years to enhance rural transportation capacity in the County. This vehicle can accommodate rural transportation needs and has options to transport individuals with physical and/or functional disabilities. For more information- click here
Zoning By-law Consolidation and Update
The Township of Hamilton will be completing a consolidation of site specific amendments (previously approved by Council) to the Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2001-58. The text and schedules will be updated to reflect the amendments approved by Council since 2006.
As well, minor amendments are proposed throughout the document to provide clarification, consistency and remove inconsistencies. A Public Meeting as required under Section 34(12) of the Ontario Planning Act with respect to the proposed amendments was held on November 17th, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Township Council has requested a Special Meeting be held December 8 at 10 am to review the details of the consolidation and housekeeping amendments. Draft Document Text
