WATERFRONT STRATEGIES

Hamilton Township contains three primary waterfront landing areas. Each contains a (former federal government) dock and several public amenities and services related to the public use of the waterfront. At the same time, the current usage of each and the issues arising from each are somewhat different, based on the local geography, neighbourhood concerns, and the intended purpose of the Township property and amenities.

The Council of the Township of Hamilton has adopted a strategy for each of the waterfront landings as a guide to the Township's budgeting and work planning.
